John Deere Classic Winner Trusts TPT Red Range Fairway Wood Shaft

RENENS, SWITZERLAND — The winner of the John Deere Classic trusted a TPT Red Range 14 Hi Fairway Wood Shaft to earn his first PGA Tour victory in 10 years.

“Congratulations to the winner of the John Deere Classic on his victory,” said TPT Chairman Francois Mordasini. “We’re proud to have been a part of this very important win in his major-championship career.”

In less than three months since their launch, TPT’s Red Range Fairway Wood shafts have now won on the three major professional tours: the PGA Tour (2021 John Deere Classic), the European Tour (2021 Made in Himmerland), and the Korn Ferry Tour (2021 Huntsville Championship).

The 14 Hi Fairway Wood Shaft trusted by the winner of the John Deere Classic weighs 90 grams at its uncut length of 46 inches. It has a CPM of 380 and an ultra-low torque of 3.0 degrees.

The 14 Hi Fairway Wood Shaft is the higher-launching option in TPT’s 14 Series Fairway Wood lineup, which also includes the 14 Lo Fairway Wood Shaft (93 grams, 2.8 degrees of torque, 280 CPM). Both shafts are designed to meet the needs of the strongest golfers in the world.

European Tour Winner Trusts TPT Red Range Fairway Wood Shaft

RENENS, SWITZERLAND — TPT’s all-new Red Range Fairway Wood Shafts scored their second professional win last weekend on the European Tour at the Made In HimmerLand, where the champion trusted a 15 Hi shaft in his 3 wood.

“We want to congratulate the Made In HimmerLand champion on defending his title with TPT,“ said TPT Golf Chairman Francois Mordasini. “To see this new shaft capture wins so quickly on the European and Korn Ferry tours reaffirms that we have the opportunity to help all golfers improve their fairway woods with a lineup of shafts specifically created for fairway wood heads. There is simply no reason to play a driver shaft in a fairway wood if a golfer is looking for the best possible performance.”

The 15 Series Fairway Wood shafts were developed to meet the needs of PGA Tour players and golfers with tour-like swing speeds. Like the 14 Series Fairway Wood used to win on the Korn Ferry Tour, the 15 Series is available in two profiles (Hi and Lo). The 15 Lo weighs 87 grams and has a torque of 3.1 degrees. The 15 Hi weighs 84 grams and has 3.3 degrees of torque.

RENENS, SWITZERLAND — Swiss golf shaft manufacturer TPT is extending its innovative Red Range Fairway Wood Shafts lineup with its tour-validated 14 Series and 15 Series.

These fairway wood-specific shafts are designed to help tour players and golfers with tour-like swing speeds maximize the performance of their fairway woods. For the first time, it also offers golfers a fairway wood shaft that perfectly matches the feel of TPT’s Red Range Driver Shafts.

The Red Range 14 Series and 15 Series Fairway Wood shafts are already making an impact on the professional tours. Korn Ferry Tour Top-25 Player Paul Barjon used a Red Range 14 Lo Fairway Wood shaft to win the Huntsville Championship. The Red Range Fairway Wood shafts are also in play on PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions.

“It was clear from the first day of testing with Paul Barjon that the Red Range Fairway Wood Shaft would immediately improve his game, and he switched immediately,” said TPT Head of Performance Jon Sinclair. “There has never been anything like the Red Range Fairway Wood shafts before in terms of performance, precision, and of course feel. All Red Range Shafts are true Swiss-engineered products and golfers will feel the difference immediately.”

The 14 Series is the most robust shaft in the TPT Red Range Fairway Wood lineup. It’s designed for the strongest players on the PGA Tour and is available in two profiles: Hi and Lo.

The low-launching 14 Lo Fairway Wood shaft weighs 93 grams at its uncut length of 46 inches and boasts an ultra-low 2.8 degrees of torque. The higher-launching 14 Hi Fairway Wood shaft offers a slightly lighter weight of 90 grams and an ultra-low torque of 3 degrees.

The 15 Series will fit most other PGA Tour players and golfers with tour-like swing speeds. Like the 14 Series Fairway Wood shafts, it is available in two profiles (Hi and Lo). The 15 Lo weighs 87 grams and has a torque of 3.1 degrees. The 15 Hi weighs 84 grams and has 3.3 degrees of torque.

TPT Earns 2nd-Place Finish At AT&T Byron Nelson

RENENS, SWITZERLAND — The second-place finisher at the PGA Tour’s 2021 AT&T Byron Nelson trusted a TPT 15 Series Prototype Driver Shaft. This top finish adds to TPT’s growing list of 2021 achievements, including wins on the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and Korean LPGA in the month of May.

“We want to congratulate the second-place finisher at the AT&T Byron Nelson on another outstanding performance with his TPT Driver Shaft,” said TPT Chairman Francois Mordasini. “Every week we’re seeing more tour players make the switch to the Swiss precision of TPT Driver and Fairway Wood Shafts. It’s clear that tour players are taking notice of what Continuous Fiber can do for their performance.”

TPT’s Red Range Driver shafts are the only golf shafts with Continuous Fiber, an automated manufacturing process that continuously wraps carbon fiber around the shaft to remove the inconsistencies present in conventional shafts. RICHARD MILLE Teams Up With SP80 To Set The World Sailing Speed Record With TPT® Carbon Fiber

RENENS, SWITZERLAND — RICHARD MILLE, SP80, and NTPT, the parent company of TPT Golf Shafts, have teamed up in a new project up to set the World Sailing Speed Record.

Midway between a boat, a plane, and a Formula 1 car, SP80 challenges the limits of what a sailing boat can be and how fast it can go. The hull of the sailing boat is designed with the same TPT® Carbon Fiber and manufacturing method used in RICHARD MILLE carbon watch cases and TPT’s Red Range Driver and Fairway Wood golf shafts to create a sailing boat with an unparalleled level of strength and speed.

With its innovative design, SP80 aims to set a new speed record of 80 knots (150 km/h) using the wind as its only source of power. This would shatter the previous world record of 65.45 knots (121.21 km/h) set in 2012. The sailing boat is expected to make its first journeys to sea in 2022.

“Fueled by the desire to achieve its goal, SP80 is ready to shake up sailing conventions,” said RICHARD MILLE Marketing Director Tim Malachard. “This same daring spirit has been guiding our brand for the last 20 years. In this young company, we see the effervescence of an enthusiastic and talented team.”

The SP80 project was founded in 2018 by NTPT Engineer Xavier Lepercq, as well as Benoît Gaudiot and Mayeul van den Broek, three engineers who are passionate about kitesurfing, sailing boats of every kind, and ocean crossings. Today, their company comprises some 40 engineers and students from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL).

“This is a synergy between three companies that strive to be the best in the world in everything they do,” said TPT Chairman Francois Mordasini. “RICHARD MILLE makes the world’s most desirable watches, TPT makes the world’s most precise golf shafts, and when this project is complete SP80 will have created the fastest sailing boat the world has ever seen. TPT® Carbon Fiber is the link between all three, allowing these Swiss companies to engineer the thin, light, and complex shapes that would not be possible without TPT® Carbon Fiber.”
